User Manual 1. Install the batteries and press the power button to turn on the device. 2. Press the mode button to select the measurement parameter: grain moisture content or probe location temperature. When measuring grain moisture, the display shows "XL.%". When measuring temperature, the display shows "1-". By default, the device powers on to grain moisture measurement mode. 3. Grain moisture measurement: Ensure the device is in moisture measurement mode. Press the selection button to choose the grain type (displayed as 1, 2, 3, 4: 1 = wheat, 2 = rice, 3 = rice, 4 = corn). Insert the probe into the grain sample. The displayed value represents the moisture content of the sample. During measurement, pressing the button will display "MAX" and activate maximum hold mode. Press again to exit. In maximum hold mode, the display updates only when a higher value is detected. The side button acts as a hold function: press once to enable (symbol appears), press again to disable (symbol disappears). 4. Temperature measurement: When temperature mode is selected, the device displays the approximate temperature at the probe location. Press the button to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit (default is Celsius). 5. After use, press the power button to turn off the device, which will enter standby mode. 6. Backlight activation/deactivation: Use the designated button to turn the screen backlight on or off as needed.
