Product description: This soil is suitable for houseplants and palms such as Monstera, UFO plant, and Yucca palm. The loose soil promotes strong foliage and retains water and nutrients for a consistent supply to the plants. NeudoHum Houseplant & Palm Soil is a peat-free soil for houseplants and palms such as Monstera, UFO plant, and Yucca palm. It supports leaf health and helps develop strong foliage and intensely green leaves. Organic components and natural clay retain moisture and nutrients, keeping them readily available to the plants. The loose substrate structure allows air to reach the roots while allowing excess water to drain away. This provides the plants with optimal growing conditions. The raw materials include wood fibers, bark humus, coconut fibers, green waste compost, and clay minerals. NeudoHum soils are peat-free. Instead of peat, Neudorff uses rapidly renewable raw materials. The main ingredients include wood fibers and bark humus, predominantly from local production with short transport routes. NeudoHum potting soils are regularly tested internally and externally. Among other things, nutrient content and fill quantities are checked by independent institutes. Peat-free: With wood fibers, bark humus, and other plant-based raw materials instead of peat. Instructions for use: Preparation: Remove soil from the packaging and loosen it before use. Repotting houseplants: Choose a new container approximately 2 cm larger than the previous one. Fill the container about one-third full with soil. Carefully loosen the root ball, remove any dead or damaged roots, and shake off as much of the old soil as possible. Hold the plant in the center of the pot so that the roots spread evenly. Fill in the soil around the roots and press down lightly. Then water thoroughly. After a few minutes, remove any excess water from the saucer or cachepot. Repotting balcony and patio plants: Choose a new container about 5 cm larger than the old one. It must have drainage holes. Place a drainage layer of gravel, expanded clay, or plant granules at the bottom. Then fill the container about one-third full with soil. Remove the plant from the old pot. Watering it beforehand will help with this. Carefully loosen the root ball, remove any dead or damaged roots, and shake off as much of the old soil as possible. Proceed as with houseplants. Areas of application: For all green plants and palms indoors, on the balcony, and on the patio. Ready-to-use growing medium for potting and repotting. The declared nutrient content refers to the time of marketing by the manufacturer and may be subject to natural fluctuations. Check nutrient content before use if necessary. Fertilizing: The potting soil for houseplants and palms contains an organic base fertilizer that supplies plants during the first few weeks. After approximately 6-8 weeks, fertilize again with a suitable Neudorff fertilizer. Expert tip: Only use the container if it is 100% dry.
