Set of 2 Cydonia oblonga 'Vranja' - Quince trees, 1.5 liter pots.

The Cydonia oblonga 'Vranja' is an elegant quince tree known for its beautiful bloom and large, fragrant fruits. This tree grows into a compact, almost round crown 3-5 meters high, but can reach a greater height under favorable conditions. Thanks to its broad main branches and beautiful silhouette, the ‘Vranja’ is a real eye-catcher in any garden. In spring, around late April to early May, the tree blooms with large, white-pink flowers that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also attract bees and butterflies. In autumn, the pear-shaped, greenish-yellow to golden-yellow fruits appear; they are larger than average and have a velvety skin. The fruits are not edible raw but are appreciated for their use in jams, jellies, compotes, and pies. Moreover, they emit a delightful fragrance, making them perfect as indoor decorations as well. The ‘Vranja’ is a self-pollinating variety with early and reliable productivity. This variety is not very susceptible to mildew and grows well in almost all well-drained soil types. The tree is deciduous and fully winter-hardy, making it ideal for both small and large gardens. Location and care: The ‘Vranja’ thrives best in full sun and can grow in almost any well-drained soil. Thanks to its vigorous growth and natural resistance, this tree is easy to maintain and provides years of enjoyment, both decorative and culinary.
