De beschermende film voorkomt dat hars het lcd-scherm vervuilt, wat de levensduur van het scherm verlengt en de kosten voor vervanging verlaagt. Met een lichtdoorlatendheid van meer dan 95% beïnvloedt de film de 405nm golflengte van ultraviolette stralen niet, waardoor de druknauwkeurigheid van de 3D-printer behouden blijft. Gemaakt van hoogwaardig PET-materiaal uit Japan, is de film krasbestendig en zorgt de dubbelzijdige laminering ervoor dat er geen witte randen ontstaan na installatie.
