Introducing the AD5693R Breakout Board! This 16-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) features an I2C interface and a temperature-compensated 2.5V internal reference for compact, high-precision output. We've broken out the ADDR/A0 pin, allowing you to connect two DACs on a single I2C bus. Simply pull the A0 pin high (or close the onboard jumper) to prevent conflicts. A 6-pin header is also included for easy breadboarding. It works with both 3.3V and 5V logic, and you can set the maximum output to either 2.5V or 5V (2xVref). When powered by 3.3V, you can set the output range to either 2.5V or Vin. We provide an easy-to-use library and tutorial with a sine wave output example, compatible with almost any microcontroller or microcomputer with an I2C host. Comes with a small 0.1" standard header for breadboard or perfboard use. Four mounting holes are provided for easy installation. An optional 3.5mm terminal block is available on the PCB – we don't include 3.5mm terminal blocks, but they are common and stocked in our store – you can solder one on if desired. For quick setup, we designed a custom PCB in the STEMMA QT form factor for easy connection. STEMMA QT connectors on both sides are compatible with the Qwiic I2C connector. This allows solderless connections between the board and the AD5693R, or linking it with a variety of other sensors and accessories using compatible cables.
