Adjustable Vine Tying Device

This vine tying device is 22 cm long and weighs 380 g, featuring a balanced centre-of-gravity design and soft-grip textured handle for controlled, fatigue-free handling. It uses standard 12 mm plastic binding tape and incorporates a dual-control knob to independently regulate tape length (3–12 cm per wrap) and binding force (low to medium tension). An integrated cutter made from hardened steel ensures clean, burr-free tape separation every cycle. Tape loading is achieved via a spring-loaded hinged cover — no tools or alignment steps required. Engineered specifically for common UK-grown climbing crops, it delivers repeatable performance on tomato trusses, cucumber tendrils, and grapevine spurs. The single-action handle stroke activates sequential tape feed → spiral winding → tension application → automatic cut — replicating skilled hand-tying without variability. Its compact size allows precise positioning around dense foliage or trellis intersections. Ideal for small-scale growers and allotment holders who manage mixed crops across varied microclimates — from sheltered south-facing courtyards to exposed north-facing polytunnels — where reliability and adaptability outweigh raw speed alone.
