A signature may be required on receipt.
Where different delivery options are available, you’ll be able to make your selection during the checkout process. We are a marketplace and as such the options may differ for items in your basket.
Please note:
As with any delivery service, timescales are estimates, cannot be guaranteed and don’t include customs clearing times beyond our control. Specifically for deliveries to South Africa, please allow additional time due to delays with the South African customs and postal service.
The third-party retailer is entirely responsible for the end-to-end delivery and fulfilment of products you purchase on the Fruugo platform.
Local+ Shipping
The product page may indicate that an item is shipping from a Local+ hub. If applicable, a clickable box will be visible showing that the item has Local+ hub shipping advantage and containing further details of what this means for prospective customers.
There are four variations of Local+ at present:
Shipping from the same country as the customer – where this applies, the clickable box will name the country that the item is shipping from and will contain details of the benefits of this shipping option.
Shipping from the same country as the customer (UK version) – where this applies, the clickable box will name the country that the item is shipping from and will contain details of the benefits of this shipping option. The only difference to note is that orders shipping between mainland UK and Northern Ireland may incur fees.
Shipping from within the EU to an EU-based customer – where this applies, the clickable box will state that the order is shipping from a local hub and will contain details of the benefits of this shipping option.
Shipping from within the EU to Norway, Switzerland or the UK or vice versa – where this applies, the clickable box will state that the order is shipping from a local hub and will contain details of the benefits of this shipping option. This option differs from intra-EU shipping, because duties and customs fees may apply. For more information, please visit our Customs Charges page.
Delivery costs
Delivery charges depend on many factors, including the choices you make during checkout for delivery method.
Delivery prices shown on our product pages assume delivery within the country of the Fruugo country website that you are viewing. For example, if you are browsing fruugo.es, the delivery prices displayed are applicable for delivery within Spain. If you change the delivery country destination during checkout, then the charges will be updated accordingly.
If you have a Fruugo account, you can choose to change the delivery country for your account by:
Logging into your account
Selecting Your Account
Selecting Personal details
Updating the delivery country
This will adjust the shipping costs on product information screens.
Total delivery costs are displayed on the final page of checkout before you submit your order. Please note that it is important to select the correct delivery country during checkout, your order will be cancelled if the delivery address does not match the delivery country as the charges will have been incorrectly calculated.
If any additional delivery surcharge fees occur with your order, such as if the weight of a product exceeds the courier allowance or delivery to a remote destination, we’ll contact you and you’ll be able to choose to proceed or cancel the order.
We recommend that you also review our Customs Charges page for further information.
