This headset expander stem top cap is constructed from premium aluminum alloy, weighing just 31g (1.1oz), combining minimal mass with robust mechanical performance. Its unique three-section expansion lock block ensures superior load distribution and tighter integration within the steerer tube compared to conventional designs. Compatible with standard 1 1/8" (28.6mm) head tubes and M6 fasteners, it accommodates internal steerer diameters from 23.5mm (0.9in) up to 25.8mm (1.0in). Works reliably with carbon fibre, aluminium, and steel head tubes, and features a dedicated hanging core that prevents direct contact and potential damage to the fork during assembly or maintenance.
