Insert the batteries. Press the remote control; the unit emits a "beep" sound and the green light turns on, indicating the alarm is ready to operate. 2. After activation, the infrared alarm enters a 15-second standby delay with the green light on. If no motion is detected within 15 seconds, the system becomes fully active.
