Triangular Base Shower Water Dam

Engineered for reliable, repeatable water containment in domestic wet rooms and accessible bathrooms, this dam uses a geometrically optimised triangular cross-section — 12 mm tall, 28 mm wide at base, 10 mm at peak — to direct hydrostatic pressure downward into the substrate rather than outward. Silicone formulation complies with EU Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 for materials in contact with food, confirming safety for bare-skin and child contact. Length options cover standard UK bathroom openings: 0.5 m (utility cupboard), 1.2 m (standard shower tray), 1.8 m (double-width wet room), up to 3 m (open-plan en-suite). Installation success depends on substrate preparation: clean, dry, grease-free surfaces are mandatory before applying adhesive and caulk. Not suitable for carpet, loose-lay vinyl or heavily textured stone.
