The basic working principle 1. Use the IO port TRIG to trigger a high-level signal of at least 10μs; 2. The module automatically sends eight 40kHz pulses and detects whether a signal is returned; 3. When a signal is returned, a high-level pulse is output through the IO port. The duration of the high level corresponds to the time taken for the ultrasonic wave to travel to the target and return. Distance = (high level time × speed of sound (340m/s)) / 2; 4. Using a simple control method, apply a 10μs high-level signal to the control pin, then wait for the high-level output on the receiving pin. When the output goes low, read the timing value, which represents the round-trip time of the ultrasonic wave. This allows calculation of distance.
