The silicone rim around the lid is to prevent rattling, also drip pouring. Cast Aluminum body that distributes heat fast, evenly, and cools quickly. 2.FernoGreen NONSTICK COOKWARE: 's FernoGreen, NonToxic and does not contain PFOA, GENX, BPA, APEO, NMP or PFOS for ier nooil or low oil cooking. Ideal for soups, stews, and steamed dishes. Conducts heat fast and evenly for energyefficient cooking. 3.COOKTOP COMPATIBILITY: Designed to suit many kinds of heat sources such as Induction, Electric, Gas, Halogen, vitroceramic.
