Secure the valve to a plate or board on your grill or fire pit using the head screw and flange. 2. Connect the inlet and outlet hoses to the respective sides of the valve. Ensure tight connections to prevent gas leakage. 3. Tighten the M8 thermocouple nut securely onto the valve end. (Verify that your valve end thread is 8mm before installation.) 4. Ensure proper connection between the thermocouple and the valve thread. 5. Turn the knob to open the gas supply and press the valve for approximately 510 seconds until the thermocouple tip is sufficiently heated. 6. Release the valve. If the gas shuts off upon release, check the following: - Ensure the thermocouple tip is consistently exposed to the flame. - Confirm the thermocouple end is securely connected to the valve. - Verify the inlet and outlet connections are properly secured to the hoses.
