The Ubertooth One is an open source 2.4 GHz wireless development platform designed for Bluetooth experimentation. Built around the LPC175x ARM Cortex-M3 microcontroller and featuring full-speed USB 2.0, it enables the development of custom Bluetooth devices with performance comparable to Class 1 Bluetooth equipment. The compact board measures just two and a half inches in length, equipped with a USB-A connector on one end and an RP-SMA connector on the other. A key feature that distinguishes the Ubertooth One from other Bluetooth development tools is its ability to not only transmit and receive 2.4 GHz signals but also operate in monitor mode, enabling real-time observation of Bluetooth traffic.
