An example includes water being diverted from a filler tap to a handheld shower head. It is important to note that this deck mounted tap WILL NOT shut water off entirely. This mounted valve is designed to direct water from one source to another, for example the cold water mains to the main shower head. If you require complete shut off from the mixed mains, you will need another valve in addition to this. An example of a workable product would part number: 06010024AMade from solid brass finished in chrome, this diverter tap is designed to suit most bath and shower installations. The bottom two inlets will take a hot & cold water feed and divert the flow to one of the two outlets available. Standard 22mm compression pipe connections - More dimensions available if required.
