The Nightfox XB5 is a powerful handheld flashlight designed to dramatically increase the range of night vision devices. The XB5 emits 850nm infrared light which is invisible to the human eye, so it must always be used with night vision goggles. Requires 1 x 18650 battery (not included) Most infrared LED diodes emit red light when turned on - this 940nm wavelength diode has almost no red light, making it difficult for users to detect. Ideal for covert operations. The 5W 940nm Osram 4725AS LED in the output of the XB5 is a breakthrough LED module with higher power than any other 940nm module on the market. You will be less conspicuous and see farther. The XB5 is solidly built, despite weighing just 195g, is O-ring sealed and splash-proof, and features Nightfox fast focus and dimmer switch technology to fine-tune the beam. You can use the XB5 with any night vision telescope or binoculars. For the ultimate night vision experience, we recommend the Nightfox 100V, 110R or Swift. It is easily attached to these devices using the Nightfox accessory mount.
