Place 100g of green coffee beans into the roasting chamber, secure the lid, and place over a gas stove or alcohol lamp to begin heating. 2. Continuously rotate the stirrer handle during heating to ensure even roasting throughout the chamber. 3. Monitor the beans closely after the first crack occurs; roasting for approximately 15 minutes results in a light roast. 4. Roast for approximately 25 minutes to reach the second crack for a medium roast. For a dark roast, continue roasting an additional 5 minutes.
