Installation guide 1) TwISt the spout left or right to expose the set screw. 2) Use a hex wrench to loosen the set screw. 3) Pull the old tub spout off. 4) Loosen the new spout’s set screw. 5) Clean the 1/2 inch copper pipe. 6) Align the new diverter line with the copper pipe and slide it over. 7) Use the hex wrench to tighten the set screw. 8) Twist the tub spout back into its original position.
