Connect the two thicker blue and white wires from the controller to the motor: the blue wire to the red motor wire, and the white wire to the black motor wire. 2. Next, connect the two red and black wires from the controller to the battery: the red wire to the battery positive terminal, and the black wire to the negative terminal. 3. Then, connect the speed controller to the corresponding terminals (the speed controller has three wires—connect the black wire to the black wire terminal). After connecting the power lock and turning it on, the motor will run. Note: Do not connect the power wires incorrectly, as this may cause damage.
