Attach the first clip one width of the base from the blind end of the steel cable. The base or saddle should be on the live end of the rope - - U-bolt on the short end. Tighten the nuts.</p> <p></p> <p>2. Attach the second clamp as close to the loop as possible. Tighten the nuts, but do not overtighten them.</p> <p></p> <p>3. Attach the brackets with the same distance between the first two brackets. Fully tighten all nuts. Applying the first load: check and tighten the nuts.</p> <p></p> <p></p> <p>Warm Tips</p> <p></p> <p>:</p> <p></p> <p>1. Tighten the nut with a socket wrench. Drills can be used, but be sure not to overtighten them as the wires can bend.</p> <p></p> <p>2. Be sure to bend at least 3" and 3/4" of the cable back.</p> <p></p> <p>3. Do not use plastic coated wire rope.</p> <p></p> <p>4. Do not attach saddles to cable dead ends. Only attach the blind ends of the cable to the U-bolts, bending will not affect the breaking strength of the lifting cable.</p> <p></p> <p>5. Do not reuse clamps.</p> <p></p>
