Adjust the desired point thickness by turning the knob on the handle according to your drawing needs. Different sharpness levels can be achieved before sharpening (Figure A). 2. Insert the pencil into the opening and rotate the rocker arm clockwise to advance and sharpen the pencil. 3. When the sharpener begins to idle, the pencil is fully sharpened. Rotate the arm counterclockwise to retract the pencil. Avoid over-retracting, as this may cause the tip to break (Figure B).
