Activating the reading hold function in the automatic range mode will switch the meter to the manual measurement mode, but the original range will remain unchanged. The reading hold mode can be exited by changing the measurement function gear, pressing the RANGE key or pressing the HOLD key again. To enter and exit reading hold mode: 1. Press the "HOLD" key once, the reading will be held and the "DATA‑H" symbols will be displayed on the LCD at the same time. 2. Press the "HOLD" key again to restore the meter to the normal measurement state. (There is no "HOLD" function during frequency measurement.) 3.
