The GH-3 is a , aluminum gimbal head designed with the traveling sports or nature photographer in mind. Cameras, lenses, or sport optics that are compatible with a 1/4Inch-20 mount can be connected to the included, 10cm long Dovetail Plate, which is secured to the GH-3 using an Arca-type clamp. The GH-3 black anodized aluminum frame has been CNC machined to remove every ounce of unnecessary weight. This new super-strong yet hollow frame weighs an easy-to-carry 2.4 lb while maintaining the ability to support up to 50 lb of gear. Standing at 8.1Inch tall and using a variable-height, Arca-type compatible support arm, the GH-3 can hold a wide range of large telephoto lenses all the way up to 600mm. The same as any common gimbal head, with fluid movement on both the 360° panning and the floating tilt. Both axes may also be locked separately via large aluminum control knobs which are easy to grip even when wearing gloves.
