Ideal for those requiring high strength support for the integrity and optimal function of the gut lining. Glutagenics® is a powdered blend of L-glutamine, quercetin and zinc. Studies have shown that this combination may together comprehensively support the integrity and optimal function of the gastrointestinal tract. A healthy gut lining is essential for healthy digestion, immune function and overall health.
The main ingredient, L-glutamine, is the most abundant naturally occurring non-essential amino acid in the body. Although it can be made in the body, different areas of the body have different requirements for L-glutamine, and the biggest users are the rapidly growing and dividing cells of the gut lining. Quercetin, zinc and L-alanyl-L-glutamine complete this gentle yet powerful formula. Dosage:
Mix 1 teaspoon with water daily, or as directed.
1/2 teaspoon is recommended for children from the ages of 8 -12 years old.
When should I take Glutagenics?
Glutagenics is best taken half an hour before a meal or else with a small carbohydrate and fat based snack. This is to avoid competition with protein for absorption.
