This magnificent woodcarving tool is made for heavy duty carving. Use this wide flat chisel to flawlessly carve lines and make straight cuts. This sharp blade is also great for removing larger chunks of wood. The shank as well as the bolster are forged from the same piece of steel, which means that this tool is built to last a long time.With a handle from hard wood, this tool is strong enough to accept blows from the mallet again and again. However, take note that the metal hoop around the end of the handle helps protect your hand while you work. The wide end also helps offer maximum control.
