This is a PCI card that adds four independent SATAI ports to your PCIequipped computer and enjoy the benefits of optional software RAID configuration for increased speed andor data security with this adapter card. Please note that this is a PCI card, NOT a PCIE card. Plug the SATA RAID PCI card into the PCI slot on your motherboard and connect 4 SATA drives to the ports on the PCI card using the included cables or standard SATA cables of the appropriate length. The card comes with an optional RAID utility that allows you to configure a RAID 0, RAID 1, or RAID 01 configuration on two port cables or more of the SATA ports. You can have a RAID 0 or 1 configuration and two independent SATA drives, two RAID 0 or 1 sets, or a single RAID 01 set. You can also connect 4 large capacity storage drives at the same time.
