Another part is collected in the Lessini mountains and in the Monte Baldo, in the Verona area, in areas selected for the quality of the environment and for the traditional herbal culture of the inhabitants, an additional guarantee of choosing the best harvest time . The most important difference between classic dyeing and mother dyeing is in the starting material: in the classic dye it is made up of the dried plant, while in the mother tincture it is given by the fresh plant. The preparation is carried out with low alcohol alcohol, thus obtaining almost total maintenance of the active ingredients of fresh plants.
