Bow tension: If bow hair arrives loose, use the screw at the frog to tighten until the hair has appropriate tautness. Do not over tighten. The hair should have a slight bounce and should not touch the stick when placed on the strings. A typical distance from the low point of the curve to the hair is about 1/4 of an inch.
